Bennington Project Independence has been helping families keep loved ones at home and in the community for more than 29 years.

Bennington Project Independence is a not-for-profit agency that provides cost-effective quality Adult Day Care and Day Health Rehabilitation Services for adults over age 18 facing physical challenges, including Alzheimer's Disease and frailties associated with aging and/or disability.

Our mission is to encourage the vitality, health and well-being of older or disabled adults enabling them to continue residing at home, while supporting and providing respite to their families and caregivers.

The professional staff of Bennington Project Independence are here to help share the care.

BPI is for adults who would benefit from:

  • Nursing Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Assistance with Daily Living Skills (eating, mobility, toileting, bathing)
  • Restorative Therapy Assistance
  • Social Interaction and Recreation

BPI is for families who would benefit from:

  • A break from the caregiving role
  • Ability to continue to work
  • To take care of other life responsibilities
